Stratton Mills is an employment agency that provides Manufacturing Personnel across the UK. We have a great opportunity for Industrial Sewing Machinists. Successful candidates will be offered full-time shifts on a contract basis.
BREAKDOWN OF THE INDUSTRIAL SEWING MACHINIST ROLE:
- Products: Industrial Covers, Tarps
- Salary: up to £14.50 per hour
- Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM or 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Contract Duration: 3 months (520 hours) with the possibility of extension based on performance
- Immediate Start
- Location: Kenilworth, United Kingdom (close to Coventry)
DUTIES FOR THE INDUSTRIAL SEWING MACHINIST ROLE:
- Follow operating instructions for the Industrial Sewing Machines: Lockstitch and Twin Needle.
- Must have experience working as a sewing machinist on the production of industrial covers, leather, very thick curtains, upholstery, industrial tarps or on any rigid, thick fabric.
IDEAL INDUSTRIAL SEWING MACHINIST CANDIDATE:
- Good attention to detail, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Previous experience in operating Sewing Machines: Lockstitch and Twin Needle.
- Experience on sewing PVC, Alcantara, Leather or any thick & very thick fabric.
