Stratton Mills is an employment business that provides Manufacturing Personnel across the UK. We have a great opportunity for the right Sewing Machinist. Successful candidates will be offered full-time shifts on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
Products: Seat Covers
Salary: Β£12.50 - Β£14.50 (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week; half-day of Fridays)
Location: LE7, Leicester, Leicestershire
Duties for the Sewing Machinist Role:
- Follow operating instructions for the Walking Foot Sewing Machine, Lockstitch, Twin Needle, Binding Machine, Overlocking.
- Complete requirements for sewing leather car seat covers.
- Draw threads through needles and adjust machine functions to meet the requirements of the sewing project.
Ideal Sewing Machinist Candidate:
- Good attention to detail & excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Experience in working with targets.
- Previous industrial sewing machine experience, within a factory environment.
