Location: Hybrid working. Travel required to Farringdon (Central London) and client sites. This is expected to be approximately two to three times per week on average.

About the Role

As a senior member of our delivery team, you will take a strategic lead on client engagements, almost always in a customer-facing role, ensuring that our cloud and AI services deliver measurable business value.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with our client stakeholders to understand their strategic requirements and road-mapping the path to cloud and AI value with actionable, business-focussed recommendations.
  • Designing assurance strategies and plans that align with client objectives and long-term business outcomes.
  • Performing forecasting and planning activities to support scalable, efficient IT operations.
  • Proactively monitoring systems to identify strategic risks and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Building on your relationship within the client to identify and develop further opportunities for cloud and AI value creation with a relentless focus on the client’s strategic vision and outcomes.
  • Pre-sales support to build out solutions for new customers or engagements in line with your live experience in the field.
  • Supporting to extend, automate and improve our service portfolio based on your live experience in the field.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience working with complex, large-scale, or fast-growing clients and delivering structured technology/cloud/AI advice and mapping these back to business outcomes.
  • Strong strategic planning and prioritisation, particularly in the area of Cloud and AI, translating client objectives into actionable roadmaps.
  • Track record of building trusted client relationships, influencing stakeholders through insight and data-driven recommendations.
  • Proven experience leading teams, projects, and budgets, with accountability for delivery and outcomes.
  • Skilled in predictive analysis, capacity planning, and risk assessment to guide business and cloud decisions.
  • Highly data-driven and analytical, especially where using infrastructure data to optimise technology performance and efficiency.
  • Proactive self-starter, taking ownership of problems end-to-end and delivering solutions.
  • Confident, client-facing communicator, able to explain complex cloud/AI cost, performance, and risk trade-offs.
  • Comfortable managing multiple initiatives across cloud and AI environments.
  • Innovative and flexible, identifying opportunities and adapting recommendations as priorities change.
  • Assertive and commercially minded, challenging clients on spend, architecture, and operating models when needed.
  • Strong conceptual thinker, understanding cloud/AI architectures, financial drivers, and business outcomes as a connected system.
  • Collaborative and egalitarian, working effectively with engineering, finance, and client teams to deliver results.

Deliver Great Work

  • Provides strategic leadership, leading leaders and influencing adoption of change across teams and clients.
  • Accountable for delivery of major programs, ensuring outcomes meet client objectives and internal quality standards.

Develop Our Business

  • Supports the Client Director in the suspecting and prospecting stages of the sales cycle, identifying opportunities and nurturing strategic relationships.
  • Strategise delivery of value by combining expert business and technical knowledge, communicating Capacitas’ value proposition clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensures multiple teams adhere to documented processes and confidently represents Capacitas’ intellectual property internally and externally.
  • Creates operationally vital IP, leveraging deep business and technical understanding to improve processes and drive scalable client solutions.
