A leading UK Insurance Systems provider that offers multi-channel software to the global insurance industry is looking to hire a Junior Support Analyst to support their client-facing business applications. This company is building out a technical team in Cornwall, seeking candidates who can work hybrid in their new Truro offices. The role will involve one or two days per week in the office, with the rest working remotely.

My client is looking for a highly inquisitive Junior Support Analyst, ideally with some knowledge of SQL and excellent communication and organisational skills. Exposure to web-based IT solutions is preferred to help further develop their innovative and complex insurance solutions. The role is immersive, and candidates should be unafraid of challenges and asking questions.

This position offers a fantastic opportunity to learn about the overall software development cycle and how different departments are interlinked. You will receive high-quality training that will teach both technical knowledge and mindset. There will be opportunities to collaborate with senior team members and interact with high-profile customers from within the insurance sector.

As a Junior Support Analyst, you will be trained to diagnose and evaluate software faults raised by clients. Responsibilities include reviewing technical specification documents, assessing data integrity issues, creating data-fixes using SQL, and dissecting log files to aid in diagnosing faults. You will be part of a successful team responsible for delivering and supporting enterprise-scale insurance applications across multiple global insurance clients.
