We're looking for a highly organised, resourceful Commercial Operations Manager to be the operational backbone of our commercial team. You'll keep our processes sharp, our knowledge captured, and our customer rollouts running like clockwork — working across teams and directly with our co‑founders as we scale. If you spot the gaps before anyone else and build the systems that hold everything together, this role is for you.
As STRATOS scales, the Commercial Operations Manager ensures complexity doesn't slow us down. You'll design and maintain the playbooks, processes, and knowledge systems that help our commercial team deliver consistently excellent work. This isn't a traditional project management role — it's for someone who pairs sharp organisational instincts with genuine intellectual curiosity.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain customer rollout playbooks, from onboarding to ongoing value delivery
- Build and curate our internal knowledge base, capturing insights and best practices from customer engagements
- Establish repeatable processes, templates, and workflows that drive operational excellence
- Track and coordinate cross‑functional workstreams so nothing falls through the cracks
- Distil patterns across engagements into structured recommendations that improve future rollouts
- Support the co‑founders with operational, finance‑related, and other priorities critical to a scaling startup
Requirements
- 3–5 years in operations, project management, knowledge management, or a similar structure‑bringing role
- Exceptional organisational skills and high attention to detail, without losing the bigger picture
- Strong written communication — you document processes clearly and concisely
- A proactive, ownership‑driven mindset
- Comfort working across teams and seniority levels, including with founders
- German language is a plus
Benefits
- A category‑defining startup transforming how industrial companies operate and compete
- High visibility and direct work with the co‑founders from day one
- Close mentorship from experienced operators and a steep, rewarding learning curve
- Highly competitive compensation plus a stock options program and private health insurance
- A great London office in Farringdon, and a company committed to being net‑zero CO₂ and donating 1% of revenue to social causes
