Responsibilities

• Define and implement a growth strategy for the UK defence market
• Build, nurture, and expand high‑level relationships across government departments, procurement agencies, military stakeholders, and prime contractors.
• Lead negotiations for large‑scale defence contracts and framework agreements
• Ensure close coordination with production, R&D, and testing teams to meet customer requirements, including during military trials
• Represent the organisation at defence exhibitions, industry events, and international forums
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory updates to shape business development strategy

Your Experience

• Proven experience in defence sales and business development
• Strong understanding of the defence ecosystem and government procurement procedures
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills
• Demonstrated ability to design and execute strategic growth initiatives, fostering long‑term business partnerships
• Fluency in English
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, scaling organisation
• Willingness to travel
