THE ROLE

Strathberry is hiring a Marketing Director to lead global multi-channel brand activation across PR, influencer, social, brand partnerships and campaign delivery. This is a pivotal senior role with significant influence on how Strathberry shows up to customers around the world as the brand enters its next phase of expansion. Reporting to the Brand Director, the Marketing Director ensures the brand world and creative vision are expressed consistently and powerfully across all marketing channels. The Marketing Director brings creative literacy, commercial intelligence and strong operational leadership to ensure the brand is expressed with clarity and impact as the business scales. This role suits someone who combines creative sensibility with disciplined marketing execution and who thrives in a fast-paced luxury environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage the global marketing calendar across PR, influencer, social and partnerships.
  • Drive integrated campaign rollout from planning through delivery.
  • Embed clear processes, structured ways of working and a disciplined operating rhythm across all marketing channels.
  • Build, mentor and inspire a high performing team, fostering clarity, collaboration and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Elevate capability across PR, influencer, social and partnerships through coaching, structure and strategic guidance.
  • Ensure coherent storytelling across channels and markets.
  • Champion cross functional alignment with Product, E-commerce and Retail to ensure cohesive go to market execution.
  • Act as a senior partner to the Brand Director, contributing perspective on channel strategy, competitive landscape and customer insight.
  • Provide clear, structured communication on marketing plans, results and opportunities.

PR, Influencer & Partnerships

  • Provide senior leadership across PR and influencer activity, ensuring all earned storytelling reflects the brand world, values and aesthetic.
  • Partner with PR and influencer specialists to shape seasonal priorities, gifting strategies and editorial moments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with editors, stylists, agents, talent managers and cultural tastemakers.
  • Ensure clarity and consistency of messaging across regions and key audiences.
  • Identify and nurture brand aligned partnerships that enhance visibility, desirability and long term equity.
  • Bring a culturally aware and luxury calibrated perspective to all earned and relationship led channels.

Creative Literacy & Brand Expression

  • Bring strong visual taste and an instinctive understanding of luxury aesthetics.
  • Translate creative strategy into integrated channel narratives that elevate the brand across markets.
  • Ensure all marketing activation aligns with brand codes and contributes to a coherent brand world.
  • Work confidently with creative teams, stylists, photographers and talent.
  • Maintain cultural and competitive awareness to strengthen brand differentiation.
  • Protect Strathberry's modern, elegant and quietly luxurious identity.

Content & Communications

  • Lead the planning and coordination of content across PR, influencer, social and brand channels.
  • Ensure all messaging aligns with the brand world and the creative strategy set by the Brand Director.
  • Partner with Creative to shape seasonal narratives that translate effectively into channels.
  • Maintain consistency of storytelling, tone and brand expression across all touchpoints.
  • Oversee the editorial rhythm for campaigns, launches and brand moments.
  • Lead marketing activation across e-commerce, retail and wholesale.
  • Build global toolkits and rollout plans for markets and retail partners.
  • Support retail windows, events and local marketing opportunities.
  • Ensure quality, consistency and impact across every customer touchpoint.

Commercial & Strategic Insight

  • Understand how brand activity influences commercial performance.
  • Ensure all PR, influencer, social and campaign activity aligns with product priorities, buying depth and hero silhouettes to drive both brand elevation and commercial impact.
  • Use KPIs intelligently to inform decisions without diluting brand integrity.
  • Present strategy, results and learnings with clarity to senior leadership.
  • Balance long term brand building with near term commercial drivers.
  • Drive a disciplined approach to spend, forecasting and budget management.
  • Use customer insight, product performance and cultural trends to inform marketing priorities and refine messaging.
  • Partner with e-commerce and data teams to understand customer behaviour and engagement drivers.
  • Tailor marketing activation to customer needs across core and emerging markets.

Collaborations

  • Partner closely with the Brand Director during early creative development.
  • Build and lead 360 collaboration rollout plans across all channels.
  • Ensure collaborations reinforce brand equity and remain aligned with brand codes.
  • Work with Product and Merchandising to align messaging and timing.

Global Scope

  • Tailor brand activation to regional behaviours and product performance.
  • Create globally consistent but locally relevant strategies.
  • Support international wholesale and retail partners with clear toolkits and assets.

Please note: This is a full-time, permanent position based in London or Edinburgh. We are currently operating a hybrid working approach with a minimum of 3 fixed days required each week working from in London or Edinburgh City Centres.
