We have an exciting new opportunity for a Stock Control Manager to join our team. This role will own inventory accuracy and stock loss prevention across our entire global operation. You will develop and enforce robust stock management procedures, lead cross-site auditing and reconciliation activities, and implement a global loss prevention strategy that spans our production flow in Spain/Europe, three global warehouse sites, and all customer facing channels. This is a high-visibility, cross-functional role requiring close collaboration with key stakeholders in Merchandising, Operations, and our 3PL partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock Control & Inventory Management: Own global inventory accuracy across all channels, including ecommerce, retail stores and wholesale, ensuring stock valuation reflects physical stock at all times. Design, implement and continuously improve stock management procedures across warehouses in Spain, the UK, and the US. Plan and execute regular cycle counts and annual full stock-takes across all warehouse locations, coordinating internal teams and third-party warehouse & logistics partners. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Produce regular reporting on stock accuracy, stock loss and inventory discrepancies. Work closely with the production team in Spain, and the UK, to ensure accurate goods-in processes, for all aspects of the CMT process. Monitor and control stock movements between sites, ensuring accurate transfer records and minimising in-transit losses.
  • Stock Loss Prevention: Develop and implement a global stock loss prevention strategy, tailored to the specific risk profiles of each channel and location. Define, track, and report on shrinkage KPIs across all channels; provide regular analysis and insight to senior leadership. Lead investigations into significant stock discrepancies, losses, and anomalies, escalating to appropriate stakeholders where necessary. Work with third-party warehouse & logistics partners to identify and address procedural losses, including pick errors, mislabelling, and handling damages. Conduct regular process audits across all sites, benchmarking performance and ensuring compliance with agreed procedures. Reconcile book stock versus physical stock, supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Systems & Reporting: Lead the configuration, management, and optimisation of inventory management systems (WMS / ERP) across all sites. Produce clear, accurate, and timely reporting on stock accuracy, loss rates, cycle count results, and inventory KPIs. Identify and drive improvements in data quality, system usage, and reporting capability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all stock control and loss-related queries across the business. Collaborate closely with Production, Merchandising, Logistics, Retail, and Warehouse teams to ensure stock data supports commercial decision-making. Build and maintain strong working relationships with production partners in Spain and third-party warehouse & logistics providers globally.

To be a star candidate for this position, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
