About the Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable China Customer Service & PR Support Administrator to join the Strathberry team to provide holiday cover and support during peak periods of year e.g. November sales and Christmas holidays for the region. Please note: this role is a part-time, zero hours contract, based in Edinburgh. We are currently operating a hybrid working approach with fixed days required each week working from our beautiful Townhouse in Edinburgh City Centre.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Handling timely customer enquiries for Chinese customers, including markets from China, Hong Kong (occasional) and Taiwan (occasional) via info.cn mailbox, WeChat Mini Program, WeChat Public Account DMs, Weibo DMs, and Red DMs.
- Provide address translations for all orders containing Chinese information to ensure smooth delivery from the warehouse.
- Liaise with the Customer Service Team and Production Team to feed repair/return requests back.
- Support the Ecommerce team with the translation of site, email and social content.
- Manage PR sample and gifting requests from press/partners/celebs on an ad-hoc basis.
- Provide occasional support to PR/marketing projects.
About You: As a star candidate for this role, you should be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability in Chinese and English.
- Very good problem-solving skills - when presented with a customer request can find a solution calmly and optimally.
- Excellent organisational skills – has an ability to multitask and sort large amounts of information, record, track and document with detail and accuracy.
- Great teammate who is self-motivated and has the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, constantly evolving digital environment.
- Previous experience or coursework in public relations and customer service or a related field is a plus.
