Responsible for preparing vehicles and applying protective coatings to prevent rust/corrosion, primarily with handheld spray guns.

Key responsibilities:

  • Surface Prep: Clean and prepare surfaces for coating.
  • Operate various equipment, primarily spray guns.
  • Select and prepare coating materials.
  • Apply products as per safety and product procedures.
  • Clean and prepare coating equipment systems and personal protective equipment.

Work environment may be noisy, dusty and have odours.

Candidate requirements:

  • Valid Canadian driver's licence.
  • Speak and read English.
  • Requires good attention to detail.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks.
  • First aid and WHMIS certification.
  • Steel-toed boots.

Wage: $18.00/hour, 85 hours/week, Monday-Friday, Permanent full-time.
