Responsible for preparing vehicles and applying protective coatings to prevent rust/corrosion, primarily with handheld spray guns.
Key responsibilities:
- Surface Prep: Clean and prepare surfaces for coating; operate various equipment, primarily spray guns, select and prepare coating materials, apply products as per safety and product procedures; clean and prepare coating equipment systems and personal protective equipment.
Work environment may be noisy, dusty and have odours.
Candidate requirements:
- Valid Canadian driver's licence
- Speak and read English
- Requires good attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, repetitive tasks
- First aid and WHMIS certification
- Steel-toed boots
Wage: $18.00/hour, 85 hours/week, Monday-Friday, Permanent full time.
