Location: Strateon Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom.

Job Description

Provide core technical support within Design and Technology department and also work flexibly throughout the school across all technician disciplines.

Responsible for whole school technical support within Design & Technology, Science and Digital Technology with due regard for Health and Safety. Ensure efficient organization of support services.

• Support practical work in Design and Technology department (e.g. Woodworking, Metalwork, Design and Manufacture).
• Apply appropriate qualifications and experience: mechanical engineering, joinery/woodworking, metal working, mechanical maintenance, etc.
• Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG). Successful candidates will be required to pay for PVG membership or Scheme checks.
