Quality Improvement Manager
As part of the largest local authority in Scotland, Education Services, you will work with the Education Directorate to support the teaching and learning of over 80,000 children and young people across nursery, primary, secondary and additional support needs sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team to support the development and delivery of service excellence across schools, focusing on Inclusion.
- Drive forward improvements to achieve Glasgow’s aims and objectives.
- Provide strategic leadership, advice and guidance to the Directorate and Headteachers to support performance improvements in the quality of education.
- Contribute to service objectives and collaborate to improve outcomes for children and young people.
Key Qualifications
- Degree level in a relevant teaching discipline.
- Comprehensive understanding of quality improvement in an education setting and a proven track record of leading and managing at a senior level.
- Leadership, energy, vision, strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills.
- Passion for ensuring Glasgow’s children and young people receive a consistently high quality education.
- Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme (essential).
- Eligibility for GTCS registration (essential).
- Under the Local Government and Housing Act 1989, this post is politically restricted.
