Can you make a difference to the future lives of Glasgow's children? Glasgow City Council is seeking to recruit highly motivated and dynamic staff, who have a passion for working with children and young people with additional support/complex learning needs. You must be committed, passionate and a well qualified staff member. We will support you to inspire the learning of our children and young people within the additional learning needs sector.

Teaching duties: supporting the delivery of Curriculum for Excellence experiences and outcomes in a range of subject areas with a specific focus on pre‑early, early and first level.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of Curriculum for Excellence experiences and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve outcomes for vulnerable young people.
  • Other teaching and additional duties as outlined in the job specification.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme is essential upon appointment.
  • GTCS Registration is required.
  • RC Approval in line with section 21(2A) of the Education (Scotland) Act 1980.
