Help roll out the UK's next-generation parcel delivery network. We're working with a high-growth business that's transforming last-mile delivery, installing smart parcel lockers in high-footfall locations across the country. To support this expansion, they're hiring a Business Development Manager to cover North East, England.
This is a home-based, field sales role focused on identifying and securing new locker locations. You'll be out meeting with independent retailers, gyms, petrol stations and landlords, pitching the benefits of the locker solution and managing deals from first contact to signed agreement.
Why parcel lockers? With online shopping still growing, traditional delivery can't always keep up. Lockers offer a smarter, more sustainable alternative:
- Convenient - 24/7 parcel collection and returns
- Reliable - Fewer missed deliveries, faster returns
- Sustainable - Fewer vans, less congestion, lower emissions
- Valuable - Hosts benefit from extra footfall and new revenue streams
Locker networks are becoming essential infrastructure for UK towns and cities – and you'll play a key role in building it.
What you'll be doing:
- Building a pipeline of prospects across your region
- Setting up and attending meetings with landlords and business owners
- Using a mix of warm leads and your own prospecting to find new sites
- Managing the full sales process from outreach to contract signature
- Building strong relationships with retailers, asset managers and property owners
- Working closely with operations teams to ensure smooth rollout of each site
- Keeping the CRM updated and using reports to track your pipeline and performance
What we're looking for:
- Experience in B2B field sales, ideally selling parcel lockers, vending, EV charging, money services or logistics services
- Someone who's confident meeting people face to face and closing deals
- A proactive, organised and self-motivated approach
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own territory
- A full UK driving licence and happy to travel across your region
What's on offer:
- Home-based with full autonomy over your region
- Laptop, phone and CRM tools provided
- Join a fast-growing business backed by major industry players
- Long-term career opportunities as the network grows
Apply now to help reshape the way parcels are delivered – and bring smart lockers to streets, forecourts and shopfronts across the UK.
