We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Psychology and/or Sociology to join a successful and growing Humanities / Social Sciences department on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an Early Career Teacher or an experienced practitioner to work in a thriving and inclusive school community in the London Borough of Ealing. The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject, committed to delivering high-quality teaching, and keen to inspire students to achieve their full potential.

The Role

  • Teach Psychology and/or Sociology across Key Stages 4 & 5
  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that promote curiosity and independent thinking
  • Assess, track and report on student progress in line with school policies
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum planning, schemes of work and departmental resources
  • Play an active role in the wider life of the school and support enrichment opportunities

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have strong subject knowledge in Psychology and/or Sociology
  • Be committed to raising attainment and maintaining high academic standards
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom practice and positive behaviour management
  • Be an effective team member with strong communication and organisational skills
