We are seeking to appoint a creative, enthusiastic, and committed Teacher of Performing Arts to join our vibrant Performing Arts department on a 1-year maternity cover contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity to inspire students through drama and the performing arts within a supportive and forward-thinking secondary academy in Haringey, Inner London.
The Role
- Teach Performing Arts across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with KS5 opportunities where appropriate).
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that encourage creativity, confidence, and collaboration.
- Contribute to performances, productions, and enrichment activities.
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative department and wider school community.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Qualified applicants only; ECTs are welcome and encouraged to apply.
- A passion for Performing Arts and the ability to motivate and inspire young people.
- Strong classroom management and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
