We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music teacher to join a thriving secondary school community in Watford. This is a part-time position (0.4 FTE), equivalent to two full days per week, and is suitable for both early-career and experienced teachers.
The Role
- Teach Music across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Deliver the OCR GCSE Music syllabus, including performing, composing, listening and appraising
- Contribute to the continued growth of Music within the school
- Support enrichment and extra-curricular activities
The Department
Music is part of a successful Creative Arts department alongside dance, drama, and art and design. The subject has grown significantly and currently has GCSE cohorts in Years 9, 10 and 11, with ambitions to increase uptake further.
