We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Geography to join a successful and supportive Humanities department on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an Early Career Teacher or an experienced practitioner to work in a vibrant and inclusive school community in the London Borough of Ealing. The successful candidate will be passionate about Geography, committed to high standards of teaching and learning, and keen to inspire students to develop a strong understanding of the world around them.

The Role

  • Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 & 4 (KS5 would be desirable)
  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that develop geographical knowledge, skills and enquiry
  • Assess, track and report on pupil progress in line with school policies
  • Contribute to the development of schemes of work and departmental resources
  • Support fieldwork, enrichment activities and the wider life of the school

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have strong subject knowledge in Geography
  • Be committed to raising achievement and fostering a love of learning
  • Have high expectations of all pupils and a positive, inclusive approach

  • Be an effective team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
