We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of French to join a successful and supportive Modern Foreign Languages department on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an Early Career Teacher or an experienced practitioner to work in a vibrant and inclusive school community in the London Borough of Ealing. The successful candidate will be passionate about languages, committed to high standards of teaching and learning, and keen to inspire students to develop confidence and competence in French.

The Role

  • Teach French across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that promote communication skills and cultural awareness
  • Assess, track and report on pupil progress in line with school policies
  • Contribute to the development of schemes of work and departmental resources
  • Support enrichment activities and the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate Will

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have strong subject knowledge in French
  • Be committed to raising achievement and fostering a love of language learning
  • Have high expectations of all pupils and a positive, inclusive approach
  • Be an effective team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to offer Spanish or German would be an advantage
