We are recruiting for a Class Teacher to join a specialist provision in Thurrock for children with severe and complex learning difficulties. The job role is full time and will start in September. Salary: MS/UPR plus fringe allowance + SEN allowance.

While experience in a PMLD setting is advantageous, it is not essential. We welcome applications from Teachers in other settings who are eager to develop their practice in specialist education. The children are aged from 2 to 19 with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). The successful candidate will become a part of a staffing team that is passionate about providing pupils with the best possible learning experiences.
The school provides highly personalised, holistic learning experiences that support communication, physical development, and engagement with the world. The school does not cater for pupils with an ASD diagnosis.
