About the Setting

Strategy Education are working on behalf of alternative provision setting in Norfolk who are in need of a SENCO on a supply basis.

This is a small setting with a growing number of students, all with EHCPs. The learning model is based on the national curriculum but uses alternative concepts recognising that every young person comes via their own unique path, but that what unites them is the need for a different environment and approach to teaching.

There is a real focus on staff wellbeing, collaborative practice and creating a climate where teaching and learning is calm and engaging.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will initially be employed on a temporary basis and will be expected to support the positive learning environment for all students.

Visits are welcomed to this unique provider who truly have the well being of staff and pupils at the core of day to day practice.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a relevant undergraduate degree and will be subject to a variety of checks including eligibility to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS and full references including one from your most recent teaching placement.
