Job Title: School Receptionist Location: Richmond Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm Job Description: We are seeking a professional and welcoming School Receptionist to join a secondary school in Richmond. As the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff, you will play a key role in representing the school and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the reception area. Key Responsibilities: * Greet and assist visitors, parents, and students in a professional and friendly manner. * Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and general enquiries. * Manage the signing-in process and maintain accurate records. * Provide administrative support to the school office, including filing, data entry, and correspondence. * Assist with organising appointments and meetings. * Uphold safeguarding and confidentiality policies at all times. Essential Requirements: * Previous experience working as a receptionist, preferably in a school or busy office environment. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems. * Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively. * A professional, approachable, and reliable manner.
