They are currently seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team, with a focus on supporting students in Sport and PE courses and activities. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in sport or physical education who is passionate about supporting young people in both academic and practical settings. About the Role The successful candidate will work alongside their Sport and PE teaching staff to support students studying vocational or academic sport-related courses. You will provide both in-class and one-to-one support, helping learners overcome barriers and reach their goals. This may also include contributing to enrichment activities and physical training sessions. Key Responsibilities * Support students in Sport and PE lessons, both practically and academically. * Adapt resources and approaches to meet the diverse needs of learners. * Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, including those with SEND or EHCPs. * Encourage student engagement, participation, and progression. * Assist in the delivery of extra-curricular sporting activities and enrichment. * Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider support team to ensure students are well-supported and monitored. About You We are looking for a motivated individual who is: * Qualified in Sport, Physical Education, or a related discipline (Level 3 or higher essential; coaching qualifications desirable). * Experienced in working with young people, ideally in an educational or coaching setting. * Passionate about physical activity and youth development. * Patient, encouraging, and adaptable to different learning needs. * A strong communicator and effective team player. * Willing to support students both inside and outside the classroom, including physical activities and events.
