Teaching Assistant's Required in South East London.

Strategy Education are recruiting for Teaching Assistant's on behalf of a multi academy trust, with both Primary & Secondary schools across mutliple boroughs in South East London.

This role is for an immediate start and would be open to temporary & permanent opportunities.

If you are a Learning Support/Teaching Assistant with excellent behaviour management and the motivation to enhance the educational experience of pupils who have Autism/SEMH/ADHD we would love to hear from you.

  • About this role
  • Teaching Assistant in a Secondary or Primary setting.
  • Either 1:1 supporting a specific child or working within small groups.
  • Prior experience supporting students with special education needs (SEN).
  • School hours Term time only.
  • Full time contract with the opportunity to become permanent for the right person
  • Holistic tailored curriculums with a focus on removing barriers to learning
  • Supportive team environment amongst teaching staff, support staff and therapists
  • The ability to manage and deal with challenging behaviour in a positive manner
  • You will need to be a passionate and empathetic teaching assistant who has at least 6 months SEN experience either in a special school, alternative provision or a mainstream setting.
  • You will be reporting and evaluating pupils' progress to teachers, parents, carers and other professional bodies.
  • The school offer bespoke and tailored education packages for each child and lessons are differentiated for each students individual needs.
