About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer in IT to join our teaching team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons across a range of IT modules, supporting learners to achieve their full potential in both practical and theoretical aspects of the subject.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, deliver, and assess lessons across IT-related courses (e.g., Level 2–5).

Develop innovative teaching materials that enhance student engagement and achievement.

Provide academic support, guidance, and feedback to students on assignments and projects.

*

Contribute to curriculum development and ensure teaching meets awarding body standards.

*

Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement.

*

Support learners in developing both technical skills and transferable employability skills.

*

Participate in departmental meetings, quality assurance processes, and staff development activities.

About You

*

A degree (or equivalent qualification) in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

*

Teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd or willingness to work towards one).

*

Experience of teaching IT at FE/HE level is desirable.

*

Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.

*
