I am recruiting for a Class Teacher (with QTS) for KS1. This is a Primary School and Nursery in the Margate area. Experience in teaching in more than one Key Stage or year group would be desirable.

The core responsibilities and expectations include:

  • To consistently and effectively plan lessons and sequences of lessons to meet pupils' individual needs
  • To consistently and effectively use a range of appropriate strategies for teaching and classroom management
  • To consistently and effectively use information about prior attainment to set well-grounded expectations for pupils, and monitor progress to give clear and constructive feedback
  • To make an active contribution to the policies and aspirations of the school
  • To contribute to the pastoral care, safety and welfare of all pupils ensuring safeguarding processes are prioritised and always followed
  • To actively engage with parents and pupils to encourage regular and punctual attendance

This is paid to scale (M1-M6). There are good transport links to the school. There is no parking on site, but there is plenty of parking available on the road near to the school. This is a Good Rated Ofsted School.
