About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Exams & Data Officer to join our dynamic team at a thriving secondary school in London. This is a key role in supporting the smooth running of all internal and external examinations, as well as ensuring accurate and effective data management across the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of public and internal examinations (GCSEs, mocks, etc.)
- Liaise with exam boards and ensure compliance with all regulations and deadlines
- Prepare exam timetables, rooming, invigilation schedules and exam entries
- Oversee the collection, input, analysis and reporting of student data and performance
- Support the Senior Leadership Team with data reports for tracking progress and attainment
- Maintain accurate student records on the schoolβs MIS system
- Train and supervise invigilators during exam periods
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience in an exams or data-related role (preferably in a school setting)
- Strong working knowledge of SIMS (or similar MIS), Excel and data systems
- Excellent organisational, administrative and time management skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive information confidentially
- A proactive, flexible approach and the ability to work well under pressure
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative working style
