Strategy Recruitment is a staffing agency who are committed to providing reliable and experienced temporary, long term and perminant staff across the educational sector. We are currently seeking experienced nursery assistants to join our team and work with various early years settings in Essex. As a Nursery Practitioner you will be given the opportunity to work in a range of settings, including private nurseries and preschools.You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the nursery and provide care and education to children aged 0-5 years old. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working within a nursery environment and possess relevant qualifications and certificates. You will have a genuine love and passion for working with young children. We are looking for candidates who are reliable, adaptable and able to work well within a team. Daily activities – this will include assisting in organising daily activities that stimulate children\’s development. Policies and procedures: keeping up to date with the company\’s policies and procedures. Childcare support: Help with bottle feeding, meal times and sleep routines. Supervision: Supervise and monitor children to ensure their safety and well-being. Stimulating environment: Create a safe, caring and stimulating environment that encourages learning through play. Requirements: * Prior experience working in a nursery setting * Relevant qualifications and certifications * Relevant experience working with children aged 0-5 years old * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Good organisation and time management skills * Ability to work well within a team * Flexibility to work across multiple locations * DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
