We are currently seeking experienced nursery assistants to join our team and work with various early years settings in Essex. As a Nursery Practitioner you will be given the opportunity to work in a range of settings, including private nurseries and preschools.You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the nursery and provide care and education to children aged 0-5 years old. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working within a nursery environment and possess relevant qualifications and certificates. You will have a genuine love and passion for working with young children. We are looking for candidates who are reliable, adaptable and able to work well within a team. Daily activities – this will include assisting in organising daily activities that stimulate children\’s development. Policies and procedures: keeping up to date with the company\’s policies and procedures. Childcare support: Help with bottle feeding, meal times and sleep routines. Supervision: Supervise and monitor children to ensure their safety and well-being. Stimulating environment: Create a safe, caring and stimulating environment that encourages learning through play. Requirements: * Prior experience working in a nursery setting * Relevant qualifications and certifications * Relevant experience working with children aged 0-5 years old * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Good organisation and time management skills * Ability to work well within a team * Flexibility to work across multiple locations * DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
