Salary: NJC scale 20–22 (£41,162–£43,299 FTE)
Actual TTO salary: £21,329–£22,437 plus access to the Local Government Pension Scheme
Are you an enthusiastic and proactive professional looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a dedicated Compliance Officer to join a thriving sixth form college and play a vital role in ensuring that compliance standards are consistently met across the organisation.
In this role, you will have lead responsibility for:

Health & Safety compliance
*
UK GDPR and data protection
*
Sustainability and environmental initiatives (including net zero goals)
*
Policy oversight and implementation
You will ensure statutory obligations are met, oversee and develop key policies, and drive initiatives to maintain a safe, sustainable, and compliant learning environment.
What we’re looking for:

Strong organisational and administrative skills

Confidence in handling and analysing data with attention to detail
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students
*
A commitment to handling confidential information with integrity
Previous experience in a similar role, particularly within post-16 education, would be advantageous but is not essential. Full training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
