We are currently working with a PRU in Feltham and are seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor / Learning Behaviour Mentor to join the team on a full-time temporary basis until the end of the academic year. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, helping them re-engage with learning and develop positive behaviours in a structured, supportive environment.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Managing challenging behaviour in line with school policies
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
  • Working closely with teaching staff, SEN teams, and pastoral staff

Requirements:

  • Strong previous experience working with challenging behaviour (PRU, SEN, SEMH, alternative provision, or similar settings preferred)
  • Calm, resilient, and consistent approach to behaviour management
  • Ability to engage and motivate pupils who may be disengaged from education
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Availability to work full-time until the end of the academic year
