The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will
- Provide high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
- Plan and support engaging, age-appropriate learning activities.
- Build warm, positive relationships with children and their families.
- Observe, assess and contribute to children's learning and development.
- Promote children's wellbeing, confidence and independence.
- Ensure a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional childcare.
- Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
- A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification that is suitable for working in an Early Years setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding responsibilities.
- A positive, caring and enthusiastic approach.
Desirable
- Previous nursery or preschool experience.
- Paediatric First Aid qualification (or willingness to undertake training).
- Confidence in supporting children's observations and learning journals.
