We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join the Art Department, in a college in Kensington. You will work closely with students, supporting their learning, engagement, and development during practical and theoretical art sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs during art lessons.
  • Assist teachers in preparing and organising art materials and classroom resources.
  • Support individual students and small groups to achieve their learning goals.
  • Encourage creativity, independence, and confidence in students’ artistic expression.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and organised learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.

Person Specification:

  • Experience working with children or young adults, ideally in education or creative settings.
  • A passion for art and creativity, with knowledge of various media and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications:
