We are seeking an experienced Citrix Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong VMware expertise for a permanent position. This role requires a current, non-expired Citrix certification and deep hands-on experience designing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise Citrix environments. The successful candidate will serve as the technical authority for Citrix and VMware platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Citrix SME and highest-level escalation point
- Design, implement, and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) environments
- Administer and optimize Citrix ADC (NetScaler), StoreFront, Director, and Studio
- Architect, support, and optimize VMware vSphere environments (ESXi, vCenter)
- Lead platform upgrades, migrations, patching, and lifecycle management
- Troubleshoot complex issues across Citrix, VMware, Windows Server, networking, and storage
- Ensure performance, availability, security, and scalability of virtual environments
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and security teams
- Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and best practices
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Current, non-expired Citrix certification, including one or more of the following: CCA-V, CCP-V, or CC-V (latest versions only)
- Proven experience as a Citrix SME or Senior Citrix Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
- Citrix ADC (NetScaler)
- VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter)
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Citrix certification (CCP-V or CC-V)
- VMware certification (VCP or higher)
- Experience with cloud or hybrid VDI environments (Azure, AWS)
- PowerShell or automation experience
