Loan Closing Analyst

Strategic Staffing Solutions International client, a leading global financial institution, is seeking a Loan Closing Specialist to join their team in London on a contract basis. As a key player in the financial services industry, our client specializes in complex financial transactions, investment banking, and asset management, providing innovative solutions to institutional clients worldwide.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, supporting the closing and settlement of syndicated loans and other structured financial products. The ideal candidate will bring LMA Loan Closing experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset to drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Support the closing and settlement of complex, time-sensitive transactions.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of a wide range of financial products and bespoke transactions.
• Propose and implement operational solutions to optimize processes.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive priorities and ensure seamless transaction execution.

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

• Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly when engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and presentation skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Innate curiosity and drive to continuously improve processes.
• Strong team player, able to collaborate across teams and regions.
• LMA Loan Closing experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience or knowledge of Loans, Equities, Bonds, and Derivatives (preferred but not essential).
• Previous exposure to loan settlements, trade support, or structured finance transactions.
