Training & Competency Advisor

Our client, an Oil and Gas Operator is seeking a Training Competency Advisor. This is a 2 year PAYE contract role based at Barrow-in-Furness. Job Overview: The Training Competency Advisor is responsible for providing efficient training and competence advisory services; maintaining latest standards, procedures and systems to ensure consistent best practice is deployed in the training and competence area whilst satisfying UK specific legislation and client requirements. The role will also act as contract owner for the third-party execution of training bookings and associated service provision. Accountabilities: Manage a training framework across all operated assets Manage a competence assurance framework across all operated assets and manage the competence assurance register. Manage Training and Competence and Job Profiles in the Training and Competence Management System and prepare and issue competence and training reports.
