My client is looking for a Technical Authority in the field of Composite Manufacturing Process Development to join the Technology team. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the future of advanced manufacturing technologies.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have demonstrated an outstanding contribution to the field of composite manufacturing process development and must have a proven track record in leading and successfully executing complex technology development projects with a particular focus on Resin Transfer Moulding and large scale primary wing structures. The Technical Authority will be responsible for leading the development and supporting the industrialisation of state-of-the-art composite manufacturing processes. Key aspects of this role involve:

  • Technical Leadership: Leading a team of research engineers and specialists, providing expert guidance on composite manufacturing technologies and processes.
  • Process Development: Leading the development and optimisation of composite manufacturing processes, including material selection and production techniques.
  • Innovation: Driving innovation in composite manufacturing methods to enhance product performance and reduce costs.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring adherence to the TRL process and compliance with aerospace quality standards.
  • Project Management: Technically leading strategically important projects and ensuring project progress reporting.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of composite technologies.
  • Training and Mentorship: Providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Problem Solving: Addressing technical challenges systematically and collaboratively.
