Duties:
- To operate machinery & tools as per training
- To conduct assembly work
- To manufacture bespoke products for industrial use.
- To ensure items are manufactured to the strictest tolerances and quality standards.
- To conduct quality checks as required
- To assist in stock checking
Experience / Qualifications:
- You should have sufficient experience of working in heavy industry.
- Experience in machine operation (e.g. milling or lathes), welding (stick or machine), fabrication (metalwork)
- No specific education or qualification is required
- An appropriate counterbalance FLT licence is desirable but not essential.
Details:
- Very long-term temporary role which will be converted to a permanent position within due course
- Regular day shifts
- Optional 3 shift system (including traditional Mornings, Afternoons and Nights)
- Overtime available
- Weekend work available
- Location: Ilkeston, Derbyshire
Rates:
- from £13.88 per hour on days (plus shift allowances)
