Engineering Assembly Operative / Fitter

To be considered for this role you MUST have previous Mechanical Assembly / Bench Fitting experience and be familliar with the use of hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment.

This is possibly a Permanent role, via a Temporary-to-Permanent arrangment.

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be working within the company\’s premises / workshops in the Burton-upon-trent area. You will be working within a small team responsible for:

  • Mechanical Assembly / Fitting according to technical drawings
  • Using Hand and Power tools
  • Must have previous Assembly / Fitting experience
  • Helping others within the manufacturing team
  • Keeping the workshop tidy
  • You may be asked to help with general day-to-day maintenance tasks

Duration

Permanent job via: 3 month Temp-to-Perm with Agency

Hours

Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm (minus half an hour for breaks)

37.5 hours per week

Rate

GBP13.84 per hour
