INITIALLY FOR 6 MONTHS THEN POSSIBILITY OF BECOMING PERMANENT.
We are seeking a candidate with strong team and people management skills, capable of overseeing multi-trades and contractors. The ideal candidate will have experience working to deadlines, prioritising workloads, and solving complex problems effectively. A solid understanding of Health and Safety legislation is essential. Recent experience in a similar role, particularly overseeing operatives within void repairs, planned, or reactive maintenance is required. Local Authority/Social Housing sector experience is highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee multi-trades, including directly employed operatives (DLOs) and subcontractors.
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance, conduct risk assessments, and lead toolbox talks.
- Manage multi-trades on-site, drive productivity, and oversee performance.
- Plan resources and workloads effectively; conduct quality assurance through regular audits and maintain documented records.
- Scope void works and post-inspect works to ensure they meet Lettable standards.
Qualifications
- IT competent.
- Clean, full UK driving license.
- Strong leadership skills with a solid understanding of multi-trade activities and health and safety standards.
- City & Guilds qualification, NVQ 2/3, or relevant experience in one or more trades is preferable.
Temp to Perm for the right person.
