To carry out fire and security servicing, repair, and installation works in compliance with relevant regulations to ensure the Group's properties are compliant and safe.
Provide accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed.
Carry out maintenance of systems including Fire Alarms, Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Lighting, Smoke Vents, Fire Shutters/curtains, CCTV, Access Control, Intruder and Warden Call to ensure safe and compliant properties.
Resolve problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed in line with agreed processes and within contract and service specifications, escalating issues as necessary.
Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed, in accordance with the agreed requisition procedures and budgets.
Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations, in accordance with contract and service specifications.
Contribute, as appropriate, to special programmes and projects in support of the Group's values and objectives.
You must have:
- Proven experience of undertaking a similar role
- Experience of working in a fire and security environment
- Working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
- Experience of analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
- Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
- Working knowledge of fire safety issues
- City & Guilds qualification, NVQ 3 as Electrician (Part P and 17th Edition preferred)
This is a temporary position paying £20.00 per hour PAYE. CIS or Umbrella rate £26.00. Must have a full UK Driving License.
