We are partnering with a fast-scaling, private-equity-backed client to appoint an exceptional Executive Assistant to support its Chief Executive Officer at a pivotal stage of growth. This is a true right-hand role, operating at the heart of leadership, governance and decision-making. The CEO is seeking a highly trusted, emotionally intelligent and commercially astute Executive Assistant who brings structure, clarity and calm to a complex, fast-moving environment. This role aligns to Level 4 / 5 of the Global Skills Matrix and will suit an EA who is confident operating at CEO and Board level, understands the rhythm and expectations of a Private Equity–backed environment, and takes pride in running a disciplined, high-performing executive function.
You will provide senior-level Executive Assistant support to the Chief Executive Officer, acting as a central point of coordination between the CEO, Board and Senior Leadership Team. The role is predominantly CEO-focused (circa 80%), with the remaining 20% providing light-touch support to the Chief Financial Officer and Chair. This balance requires excellent judgement, prioritisation and an ability to protect the CEO’s time while ensuring clean, accurate and timely information flow across leadership and governance structures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Complex diary and inbox management aligned to strategic and Board priorities
- Acting as gatekeeper and trusted first point of contact for the CEO
- End-to-end coordination of Board, Committee and Executive meetings
- Preparation, circulation and quality control of Board and Committee packs
- Production of agendas, minutes, action logs and formal records
- Tracking actions and ensuring follow-through across senior stakeholders
- Supporting governance and company secretarial processes
- Managing highly confidential and commercially sensitive information
- Light-touch travel and expenses support for the CFO and Chair
You will be the individual ensuring the CEO is fully prepared, governance is robust, and leadership conversations are supported by accurate, well-structured information.
ABOUT YOU
You are a senior, career Executive Assistant who thrives in high-trust, high-impact environments and enjoys operating close to decision-making. You will bring:
- Demonstrable experience supporting at CEO level within complex organisations
- Experience within, or strong awareness of, Private Equity–backed businesses (or similar high-growth, investor-led environments)
- Confidence supporting Boards, Committees and senior leadership teams
- Strong understanding of governance, agendas, packs, minutes and action tracking
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced Microsoft Office and Outlook capability
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication
- High levels of discretion, integrity and sound judgement
- A calm, proactive and solutions-focused approach
You are commercially aware, emotionally intelligent and comfortable navigating change, growth and senior stakeholder dynamics.
