Job Overview
Our Account Directors are the link between our clients and the rest of the business, they manage relationships with our clients on a number of different levels, always looking for ways to develop and grow our partnerships. Commercially responsible for the success of their clients, our Account Directors mould the success of our clients' events, offering expertise and guidance to ensure that Strata are considered trusted advisors in our field. This role would be sitting specifically in our Automotive team, for some of the world's largest Automotive companies. Experience within an agency and experience of the Automotive industry is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining long-lasting client relationships and leveraging these to identify new streams of revenue and maximizing profitability.
- Taking client briefs for both Internal and External communications activities and gaining a deep understanding of objectives.
- Creating proposals and presentations in response to briefs.
- Overseeing a wide range of deliverables, working with our in-house teams to ensure quality standards and timelines are met efficiently and profitably.
- Ensuring financial targets - revenue and margin - are achieved on every piece of work and providing accurately and timely forecasting to the Client Services Director.
- To act as the client escalation point if required.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the below experience:
- Candidates must work at a similar level within a marketing communications or experiential agency.
- Organised and diligent, lead from the front and be a good example.
- Expert at juggling and meeting multiple deadlines.
- A strong communicator with relationship development skills that are second to none.
- Calm under pressure with a positive attitude at all times.
- Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders from Jnr to C-suite.
- Experience of FMCG and global campaigns.
- Strong commercial background, working on forecasting, client budget control, and time utilisation across account team.
- Previous experience working within the Automotive sector.
