Job Overview: We’re looking for a Senior Events Executive Producer to lead the end‑to‑end production of high‑profile live, hybrid and virtual experiences for global brands. You’ll partner closely with our Account and Creative teams to shape briefs, build compelling pitches, and deliver world‑class events, owning everything from production strategy, technical solutions and supplier management through to onsite leadership, reconciliation and post‑event debriefs. With 10+ years’ experience (agency and/or freelance), you’ll be calm under pressure, commercially astute and hands‑on, able to guide multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver exceptional quality, on time, on budget and safely, across a diverse portfolio including leadership conferences, awards, product launches and experiential brand activations.
Key Responsibilities
- Client partnership & leadership: Act as a senior production lead and trusted partner to clients and Account Directors, owning the production approach, advising on feasibility, and protecting quality, budget and timelines. Lead cross‑functional teams (creative, technical, logistics, digital, content) with clear direction, pace and accountability across pitch and delivery phases. Build a client‑focused culture by translating client objectives into actionable delivery plans and ensuring stakeholders are aligned throughout. Mentor and develop junior producers and wider delivery teams, sharing best practice, raising standards and supporting career growth.
- Production planning & delivery: Own production schedules, rehearsal plans and critical paths, ensuring all departments and suppliers are briefed, resourced and working to plan. Work with our Technical team to plan appropriate AV/technical solutions and staging, ensure show calling support, content/playout considerations and contingency planning is all in place. Oversee on‑site delivery, ensuring strong production values, safe working practices and a high‑quality delegate/audience experience. Stay current on event technology, content and creative trends, proactively bringing new solutions and improvements to clients and internal teams.
- Commercial management & suppliers: Prepare and own production budgets; track costs against plan, manage change control, and drive delivery against agreed turnover and gross margin targets. Source, brief and manage suppliers, negotiating commercially, confirming specifications, ensuring delivery to deadlines and maintaining excellent quality. Manage production administration to a consistently high standard, keeping documentation, schedules and approvals accurate and audit ready.
- Brief taking, pitching & proposals: Work with Account and Creative teams to interpret briefs, define production strategy, and shape deliverable scopes that are inspiring, feasible and commercially sound. Contribute to proposals and pitch responses, including timelines, budgets, supplier/technical approach, risk and delivery methodology. Confidently present and defend production thinking in face‑to‑face pitches and client meetings, building trust and credibility.
- Governance, sustainability & continuous improvement: Ensure delivery follows Strata processes and remains ISO9001 compliant, with streamlined workflows that support consistent, efficient project delivery. Champion safe working practices, robust risk management and appropriate documentation (method statements, permits, etc.) in collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers. Embed sustainable thinking into planning and delivery, seeking environmentally responsible options and supplier practices wherever possible.
- Post‑event, reconciliation & account growth: Lead timely project reconciliation, ensuring costs are closed, supplier paperwork is complete and information is handed over for accurate billing. Run internal/external debriefs to capture learnings, improve processes and share knowledge across technical, content and venue partners. Support organic account growth by identifying opportunities, strengthening client relationships and collaborating on case studies with Marketing.
You’re a credible production leader who can balance creative ambition with operational rigour. You bring confidence in client‑facing environments, a strong commercial mindset and the ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams through complex timelines and high‑pressure delivery. You care deeply about audience experience and measurable outcomes, while valuing simplicity, clear process and continuous improvement.
Essential experience:
- 10+ years’ experience producing events within an agency and/or freelance environment, delivering live (and ideally hybrid/virtual) projects for premium brands.
- Proven end‑to‑end production experience: budgeting, scheduling, supplier procurement/briefing, onsite delivery, reconciliation and debrief.
- Strong client‑facing capability: able to lead meetings, advise on feasibility, manage expectations and maintain an exceptional service mindset.

- Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management, able to simplify complexity, influence decisions and keep delivery aligned.

Desirable:
- Degree educated (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience delivering events for automotive and/or pharmaceutical sectors, including complex compliance or stakeholder environments.
- Working knowledge of show calling, content/playout workflows, and event technology platforms used for hybrid/virtual delivery.
- A demonstrable commitment to sustainable event practices and supplier stewardship.
Employee Benefits:
- 25 days annual leave, plus usual Bank Holidays
- Birthday day off
- Private Health Insurance*
- Workplace pension scheme
- Death in service scheme
- Cycle to work scheme
- Hybrid working arrangement
- Regular social events
