The Senior Planner's scope encompasses high-level project planning and coordination, playing a key role in achieving efficient and successful construction outcomes. Key Responsibilities: * Producing compliant, high-quality project programmes; * Defining planning scope, key constraints and contract requirements; * Developing efficient design, procurement and construction strategies for tenders; * Preparing tender programmes, planning philosophies, presentations and reports; * Producing, managing and maintaining contract programmes; * Assessing critical paths and recommending corrective action; * Establishing project baselines and managing change control processes; * Coordinating resources and monitoring supplier and subcontractor performance; * Providing strategic planning oversight and mentoring less experienced planners; and * Using project data and KPIs to monitor progress and support informed decisions. Required Skills & Experience: * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; * Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities; * Proven leadership and time-management skills; * A strong understanding of project data, processes and reporting; * Advanced proficiency in Excel, MS Project, Primavera P6 or ASTA; * Comprehensive knowledge of construction planning, scheduling, contracts and risk management; * Experience producing and managing programmes for complex construction projects; and * A successful track record of project delivery and stakeholder relationship management
