Our client provides Transport Planning services from inception and feasibility through to planning, post-permission, and detailed design. Working with everyone from developers to local planning authorities, they span the public and private sectors. Their projects range in scale from single-unit developments through to large-scale town centre regeneration and urban extensions. Their work includes Transport Assessments, Transport Planning, Travel Planning, Accessibility Planning, Transport Modelling, and Safety Audits.

The role:
- Prepare technical reports, including Access Appraisals, Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and Walking, Cycling, Horse-Riding Assessment and Reviews.
- Carry out junction capacity modelling and CAD design work.
- Liaise with stakeholders, external project team members and clients.
- Represent the company at meetings, public consultations and exhibitions.
- Undertake site visits.
- Working collaboratively, supporting our Environmental teams with the production of Construction and Environmental Management Plans and Noise and Vibration Assessments, including assisting with monitoring sites.
What you need to succeed:
- A degree in a relevant subject is preferred (Geography, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, Planning, Transport Planning) but not essential, additional qualifications are advantageous.
- Excellent analytical and numeracy skills.
- Proficient in conducting research and producing high quality reports.
- At least two years’ experience in the transport planning industry.
- Committed to continuous professional development, such as Transport Planning Professional (TPP).
- A high level of intellectual, professional, and interpersonal agility and flexibility.
- A pragmatic attitude and the ability to deal with uncertainty and change.
- Excellent time management and the ability to multi-task and make decisions around competing priorities.
