We are working with an award winning design consultancy who are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join their team on a contract basis to support a range of infrastructure and construction projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, design, and on-site coordination, ensuring all works meet technical, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review civil engineering designs, drawings, and specifications
- Provide technical oversight on construction activities and site operations
- Conduct site inspections, surveys, and progress assessments
- Prepare reports, calculations, and compliance documentation
- Liaise with contractors, clients, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality requirements
- Assist with risk assessments, method statements, and H&S compliance
Required Skills & Experience
- Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in infrastructure, highways, drainage, structures, or similar civil engineering projects
