This is an excellent opportunity for a Chartered Engineer who enjoys autonomy, client interaction, and working on technically varied refurbishment projects across a broad range of sectors.

The successful candidate will join a close-knit and collaborative team delivering predominantly refurbishment and survey-led projects across the retail, residential, commercial and industrial sectors.
Typical project values are below 5m, offering the chance to work across numerous fast-paced schemes simultaneously while maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, leading projects independently, attending client meetings, carrying out surveys, producing detailed reports, and mentoring junior engineers where required.

Our client is seeking a Chartered Structural Engineer (MIStructE or MICE) who is confident operating autonomously and comfortable taking ownership of projects from inception through to completion.

Experience delivering refurbishment and survey projects within live environments would be highly advantageous.

What You Need To SucceedProven experience delivering structural refurbishment projects.
Strong background in surveys, defect diagnosis, and report writing.
Excellent client-facing and communication skills. Ability to manage projects independently from inception to completion.
Experience working across retail, residential, commercial and/or industrial sectors.
Competent in structural analysis and design using industry-standard software.
Ability to mentor and support junior engineers where required.
