Senior Engineer – Housing Developer

At this award winning, housing developer, we pride ourselves on building high-quality homes and communities where people love to live. We’re looking for a Senior Engineer to join our North West region team and play a key role in delivering our ambitious developments.
The Role
As a Senior Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
- Managing the engineering design of new housing developments, from land acquisition through to site completion.
- Overseeing external consultants, reviewing designs, and ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards.
- Liaising with local authorities, statutory bodies, and contractors to progress approvals and technical agreements.
- Supporting the delivery team with engineering solutions on-site, ensuring developments are safe, efficient, and commercially viable.
- Mentoring and supporting junior engineers within the team.
What We’re Looking For
- A qualified Civil Engineer (degree or HNC/HND) with strong residential development experience.
- Knowledge of highways, drainage, utilities, and earthworks design.
- Experience in Section 38, 104, and 278 agreements.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- A proactive problem solver with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
