As a Senior Structural Technician at our busy client, you will play a key role in the delivery of structural design projects across commercial, residential, industrial, and public‑sector developments. Working closely with engineers and other technicians, you’ll take ownership of producing detailed drawings, models, and technical documentation, ensuring accuracy, buildability, and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Produce high‑quality structural drawings and BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD
  • Work collaboratively with structural engineers to develop coordinated designs
  • Lead and mentor junior technicians, providing technical guidance and quality oversight
  • Manage drawing packages from concept through to construction issue
  • Carry out clash detection, model coordination, and information exchange within BIM environments
  • Ensure all work aligns with project requirements, standards, and deadlines
  • Liaise with architects, contractors, and external consultants

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to design quality

  • Experience working on medium‑to‑large multidisciplinary projects
  • Knowledge of British Standards and Eurocodes
